Calé presents Mulberry Fig, the latest Floris fragrance for its Private Collection

Initially launched in 2022 as a limited edition, Mulberry Fig becomes part of the Private Collection of Floris, the most prestigious fragrance line of the historic artistic perfumery brand established in 1730 and still owned today by the descendants of the founder Juan Famenias Floris.
Mulberry Fig is an olfactory tale of the aroma, beauty and tranquility that can be enjoyed walking through St. James's Park in bloom, one of the most famous green spaces in the British capital which is just a few steps away from Jermyn Street, where Floris has her headquarters at No. 89.

Mulberry Fig is a perfume that evokes amber floral sensations that combine the soft and powdery character of iris with hints of fruit and spices. The perfume opens with notes of fig and cardamom, supported in the heart by fragrant green tones of vetiver and cypress. Amyris, cedar and sandalwood underline the overall woody character that permeates through the scent.

A note from Edward Bodenham, Perfume Director of Floris
" We are fortunate to reside in the vicinity of one of London's most beautiful open spaces, St. James's Park, within walking distance of our shop and perfumery. This peaceful retreat, its wildlife and languid natural environment have provided the is the inspiration for our new fragrance, Mulberry Fig, which we are delighted to launch in 2023. One of the great pleasures of a stroll in St. James's Park has always been the ability to appreciate the wonderful variety of aromas emanating from the many flowers and trees that they flower there all year round. The towering fig trees lining the tranquil lake have a particularly strong and lingering scent and it was this energizing aroma together with the relaxed ambience that became the theme of our latest eau de parfum. with the fruity notes of the fragrance, reminiscent of the beautiful cherry blossoms in the park, the blend is completed by the deeper and slightly spicy teas of green vetiver together with warm and soft woods that add balance to the composition.”
