In fact, experiencing the world of Xerjoff means going beyond the purely olfactory dimension to enter a wider universe, where perception and sensuality go hand in hand to evolve together. Uniqueness, quality and exclusivity are the keywords that represent the philosophy of the brand, founded in 2007 in Turin by Sergio Momo.

After studying at the European Institute of Design and several years in London in design and advertising agencies, Momo‘s passion turned into an elite brand, also thanks to a trip to Grasse to attend courses on fragrance creation, distillation techniques and the history of modern perfumery. However, his interest dates back to his childhood, thanks to the travel stories of his father and the perfumes of his maternal grandmother, who called him Joff. Hence the name of the brand, which combines the nickname ‘Joff’ and ‘Sir’, the way of addressing fellow Londoners.

‘I was born into a perfume-loving family. One of my earliest memories is of my grandmother showing me her exclusive Lanvin and Coty bottles. My parents also owned a carefully selected collection of perfumes. Of all the five senses, smell is the most creatively stimulating, because fragrances are a means to reach places, situations, people, a means to bring back memories and sensations. While being so intimate and personal, perfumes allow everyone to get in touch and share emotions with whoever is nearby,’ says the founder of Xerjoff, who has turned this approach into reality thanks to his precious collections that combine some of the most precious raw materials from all over the world with surprising jewel bottles made by the best artisans of “made in Italy”.

All production takes place in Italy where the efficient operational and production structure in Turin takes care of every detail, from the initial design to the packaging with a strong focus on environmental impact and sustainability.
