Angela Laganà: cosmetics and experimentation meet research perfumery


From Fragrans in fabula comes Angela Laganà's new and exclusive project that combines high artisanal cosmetics and sustainability. An all-Italian brand born from its namesake founder's passion for perfumes, essential oils and botanical actives.
Raised in the family laboratory based in Bologna that has been involved in advanced cosmetic research since 1938, Angela Laganà, developed an interest in the subject early on by dedicating herself to experimentation in the beauty field and working for major luxury and fashion brands. A biologist, cosmetologist and anthropologist, over time she has created olfactory architectures for the person, the environment as well as for events, beauty products and various projects of broad conceptual scope. But it is her fascination with the concept of informed water that provided her with the inspiration to create her own line and thus realize her dream.
Thanks to numerous in-depth studies and a variety of tests in collaboration with professionals in the field, water is dynamized and blended with the botanical actives in the formulations through a special molecular activation process that allows the ingredients to act in new ways while expressing their effectiveness to the fullest. This results in highly concentrated products with distinctly enhanced properties that feature sophisticated fragrances.
Each formulation has its own distinctive fragrance created by drawing on Angela Laganà's olfactory memories to create an evocative and unprecedented sensory experience with great attention to environmental impact and the natural origin of the raw materials used. In fact, all products feature 100% recyclable glass and aluminum packaging, and the formulations, in addition to being extremely rich in highly concentrated actives, are free of parabens, silicones, PEGs, PPGs, EDTA, Amines (TEA, DEA, MEA) and artificial dyes.
