Ajedrez: a tribute to the slowed down time of chess

Ajedrez which is the term that translates the word “chess” in Spanish, is the new fragrance by FRASSAÏ available now at Fragrans in fabula.

The fragrance plays with the notions of space and time and is a tribute to the game of which the grandfather of Natalia Outeda, founder and creative director of the brand, was a great fan. Ajedrez transports us to a 1960s chess game room, the room is dimly lit and the air delicately exhales the elegant scent of a well-dressed gentleman: spices, iris, a hint of tobacco and musk. The game proceeds slowly, as slowly and carefully as the perfumes of FRASSAÏ, an Argentine maison of slow perfumery, are made. Time can go forward or backward. Time is reversed. Sometimes it seems to stop. The pause gains importance. In standing still, there is movement. These are the concepts behind the composition, which attempts to capture the meditative state into which chess masters enter at moments of peak concentration through its woody, amber and spicy notes.

A complex weave created by Mane's perfumer, Ralf Schwieger, under the creative direction of Natalia that opens with the luminosity of Pure Jungle Essence™ bergamot and black pepper essential oil to develop into a heart of Pure Jungle Essence™ iris and lavender extract. Complementing this is a base of amber woods, tobacco and leather

We await you online and in boutiques to discover the magic of this meditative fragrance.
