    Beaufort - VI Et Armis
VI et Armis provokes and shakes with the initial notes of pepper and black tea wrapped in dense notes of whiskey and mystical incense. In its heart, the narcotic notes of opium flowers and red fruits give way to the dense and smoky finish due to tobacco, birch and oud. A soft amber note intensified by caramel contrasts and at the same time enhances dry and green notes of labdanum, sandalwood, patchouli and Atlas cedarwood.
Vi et Armis evokes the history and roots of Great Britain, full of contradictions. Its olfactory notes talk about the colonial empire and the British trade domination on the international seas. The playwright and music critic George Bernard Shaw defined the humans of the time with these words: "They become prey of emotional excitement through tea, tobacco, opium, whisky and religion”.
