    Shiso is the Japanese name for Perilla, an aromatic plant cultivated in Asia since ancient times and in Japan since the 3rd century. The scent of Shiso essence is powerful and complex: green and powdery notes similar to mimosa, crossed with a spicy wave reminiscent of cinnamon in a halo of mentholated freshness. The word Shiso preceded by the letter "O" because its sonority evokes "eau" (water), because it is the first letter of the word "ode," and because its shape resembles a bow.
