Vetiver Java - Eau de Parfum

There are different qualities of vetiver, and among the most renowned is Java vetiver. Depending on the type of land where it grows and its exposure to the sun, each species has different olfactory nuances. Its essential oil is extracted by steam distillation of the roots, which are washed, cut and placed to dry in the sun. Harvesting is done manually between December and September, and the plants stripped of their roots are then planted back into the ground to be recultivated.
