Beaufort

The name Beaufort derives from Naval officer Sir Francis Beaufort, whose eponymous scale was developed in the early 19th century as a means to categorise wind strength. The founder of the brand, Leo R Crabtree, is born and raised in close contact with the sea and he draws inspiration from the legacy of his family's nautical tradition and from his great passion for perfumes and history. He creates  bold and decisive olfactory compositions, a collection of fragrances with a strong and proudly British identity. His perfumes have an unseen power whose effects are experienced rather than observed.
